Clochette II

My first painting of Clochette was a great success (disclaimer: considering my experience level). I kept thinking about fur, and the strokes that I did last time, and I was feeling the need to do a new one.

Once again, I looked for a good picture in my collection. It had to be a pose that’s doable as a painting, and also flattering for my queen Clochette. Here’s the pic I picked

And here is my version

This time, it took some fulfilling 90’, full of optimism > uncertainty > doubt > and, finally, satisfaction.

I actually think I nailed the eye in this one – which made me realize I hadn’t last time :) Overall I liked the fur better this time, and I stopped myself before adding “too much”. The framing wasn’t perfect, so I improvised some parts.

Even more this time, I’m really proud of the result <3 and I hope you like it, too.
