Nereides: a brief dive
Born from field-recorded waves in Saint-Malo and shaped by memories of Greek folklore, Nereides invites listeners into an oneiric underwater rite. Looped wave rhythms, fingertip rubs, crowd whispers and AI-generated flutes drift through a 3-minute trip where real coral reefs meet imaginary sea folk.
The mix blends nine personal recordings, a hacked 3-D-printer g-code file, four Creative-Commons underwater samples and six AI textures. All sculpted in Audacity + Reaper, with MuseFX stretching the space until land, sea and dream merge.
