Alafiasmenes: a ritual of fragments

BArchival fragments from a 1980s interview and works of Greek artist Giorgos Lazogkas (ERT) are re-composed into a shifting sonic collage. Using a custom Pure Data patch for random sampling –based on my “Voice Collages” technique– and layered with additional compositional elements, the piece transforms documentary material into rhythmic, glitch-like textures. The result is a meditation on memory and the elusiveness identity, where broken speech and archival noise are re-imagined as poetic, ritual sound.
