Description
How do different natures connect? How do they reconcile?
At the crossroads of past and future, with tones of nostalgic futurism, we can imagine a wall that feels both familiar and foreign, like a scene from a grandmother’s living room. Here, images, natures, ideas, techniques, and imaginaries—each seemingly pulling in different directions—meet, and together, they narrate a story that is at once disjointed, personal, and collective.
Production Details
The digital collages were created using a number of editing tools, using images sourced from the internet, stock and personal photographs.
For the cyanotype prints, I used the negative transparency technique.
The frames and additional exhibited objects were sourced from Antique shops and personal archives as well as decorative elements repurposed for the installation.
